Background Story

EcoHomes started with a question: What if the quiet talents waiting in the rural villages could build a brighter future for women, for heritage & for the planet Earth? In the heart of Pakistan's rural villages, where old traditions are still being shared from mother to daughter, where thousands of women live with gifted hands & untold histories. For generations, these women have mastered the skills of weaving, stitching and dyeing - taught like heirlooms, yet too frequently overlooked, underestimated or forgotten. EcoHomes arose from a desire to redefine that narrative. What began as a small initiative eventually grew into a mission-driven movement. We recognized the opportunity to bring these skilled women together with the consumers around the world- individuals who value authenticity, sustainability & human connection. With each basket woven, each mat sewn, and each piece handcrafted, our artisans are not only carrying on tradition they are rewriting their futures.

Crafting Change, One Thread at a Time

We work directly with rural women artisans; mothers, daughters, sisters and empower them with fair wages, dignified labor, and a renewed purpose. At EcoHomes, all products are crafted from natural, sustainable materials and built on ancient methods. But more than that, each item holds a story of strength, of revival, of a woman who chose to rise. Today, EcoHomes is a celebration of Pakistan's vibrant cultural heritage, a bridge between the past and the present, and a platform where each thread tells a story of transformation. By buying EcoHomes, you don't only introduce handmade beauty into your home-you become part of something greater. You help a mother to send her child to school. You help in preserving an art. You help in protecting our planet. Together, we are weaving change-one thread, one story, one home at a time.
